REDLANDS, Calif.
A final piece of the 110-acre, mixed-use development that includes the highly successful Mountain Grove and Citrus Plaza retail centers has officially broken ground with Majestic Realty Co.’s Summit Apartments.
Located at the northwest quadrant of the Foothill (I-210) and San Bernardino (I-10) freeways, the multi-family component will include a 17 building, three-story, 281-unit garden walk up apartment complex featuring one, two, and three-bedroom layouts. The apartments, ranging in size from 666 – 1,256 square feet, will offer high-end, state-of-the-art amenities and services including a 4,400 square-foot clubhouse, resort style swimming pool, gym, dedicated mailroom, dog park, and WiFi service throughout the entire 10.5-acre complex. Apartment units will become available for occupancy in July 2019 with anticipated completion of the entire project late in the year.
With a wide range of creative development strategies taking place in cities across the country, the Majestic Realty team studied regional market conditions and responded to consumer interests by creating its first residential community.
“This is one of the largest mixed-use developments in the Inland Empire,” said Majestic Realty Retail Senior Vice President and Director of Development, John Hunter. “We are eager to add this housing element to our incredible mix of retail, restaurant and entertainment venues.”
Mountain Grove, which opened in 2015, is a 460,000-square-foot retail and entertainment shopping center development that is contiguous to Majestic Realty Retail’s highly successful, 520,000-square-foot Citrus Plaza shopping center (opened in 2005). Located in the heart of the Inland Empire, in what many industry leaders rank as one of the country’s strongest retail markets, Mountain Grove and Citrus Plaza offer nearly 1.2 million square feet of apparel, general merchandise, food and entertainment retailers including, among others: 24 Hour Fitness, Kohl’s, Banana Republic, Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath & Beyond, buybuy Baby, Chipotle, Cost Plus World Market, Gap, Habit Burger, Harkins, Hobby Lobby, Justice, Petco, Kay Jewelers, Kirkland’s, Lane Bryant, Nike, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, Ross, Skechers, Target, Tilly‘s, TJ Maxx, Macaroni Grill, and Ulta.
Remaining development plans within the Redlands project are projected to include a 110-room hotel, a grocery store, and additional restaurant tenants.
