John Jo

John Jo joined Majestic Realty in 2016 and is Vice President of development. With a background in finance and capital markets, John was initially responsible for structuring and securing construction, bridge, and permanent financing as well as identifying new sources of capital. John is now fully dedicated to the development side and is responsible for procuring new opportunities.

John led and oversaw the entitlement, development, and lease-up of Majestic’s Reno projects, which encompass 1.5 million SF. He recently closed on a 30-acre site that will soon be developed into two industrial buildings totaling 400,000 SF.

With the Majestic-Sunroad Enterprises joint-venture projects in Otay Mesa (San Diego), John ran point on the structured finance activities.

Prior to Majestic, John was a capital markets intermediary for a national platform, placing over $2.3 billion in debt from CMBS, life companies, banks, and GSEs on behalf of institutional, middle market, and private clients.

John received his Master’s in Business Administration from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business with an emphasis on Real Estate Finance and has a Bachelor’s Degree from UC Santa Barbara. John Jo is married with two children and currently resides in Costa Mesa, CA.
